The successful candidate will work on both small and large-scale projects, must have diverse and proven CMT and geotechnical engineering experience, will be responsible for preparing and reviewing technical reports, specifications, recommendations, and proposals, and must have previous field experience associated with CMT and subsurface investigations and foundation construction. In addition, the candidate[s] will be responsible for quality control and reviewing work of others and assisting with management of projects. You will lead CMT investigations, perform analyses, test construction materials, oversee obtaining and maintaining necessary laboratory and field certifications, and determine staff utilization, schedules and budgets. You will also help mentor and develop staff members in both the field and office. You will have departmental P&L responsibility.  B.S. in Civil, Construction or Geotechnical Engineering.Georgia P.E. license, or be able to obtain P.E. license within one year.Must have experience in CMT and construction engineering and analysis; sound understanding of laboratory testing methods, and considerable construction materials testing experience. Geotechnical experience would be beneficial. Excellent writing, communication, and computer skills are a must.5 to 10 years of related engineering and construction experience.Strong leadership and decision-making skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.
