We are seeking a Construction Specifications Writer/Coordinator to develop and lead a regional service center for our West Coast offices. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of CSI specification writing experience for transportation projects, preferably in the transit/rail field, and hold a bachelors degree in architecture, engineering or related field. Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) certification is required along with extensive knowledge of construction standards.  Exceptional organizational skills and good written/oral communication skills are required.Professional Engineering registration (PE) or Architectural license is desired. Knowledge of Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) and State Department of Transportation (DOT) specifications is a plus.This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career as our lead construction specification coordinator on the West Coast. Typical activities include, but are not limited to, coordinate and prepare specifications for transportation projects, train Architects and Engineers in the preparation of specifications and maintain a library of specification resources.  This position is available in either the DMJM Harris' Oakland office or our Sacramento office.QualificationsPE or Architectual license desired.
