Consultant I

PB is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and organized individual to help the growth of its multi-shore strategic consulting services, management consulting practice. This practice provides all facets of strategic consulting, financial and economic analysis of infrastructure projects of all kinds, in all sectors, to private and public sector clients both internationally and domestically. This position will report to the business manager of multi-shore strategic pursuits and projects in the strategic consulting service line of PB, a worldwide engineering and management consulting company based in New York. The individual will work with other practice leaders, market teams, and staff on projects, proposals and business development, pursuits and pursuit management, to develop strategies, processes, and systems to deliver client outcomes and project profitability. In addition, this position will work on utilizing technical resources spread all over the globe effectively and facilitating optimal exchange of professional staff among PB offices located in six continents.

The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in a relevant field (business administration, economics, finance, marketing/communications with training or exposure to statistical techniques, engineering, or construction a plus), and/or at least 10 years of proven success in a consulting environment. Experience in the infrastructure, banking or engineering fields will be helpful. Proficiency as a seller of services, communicator of ideas, business development acumen and self-starter are critical. Position is based in New York with travel expected.
