SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
Design electromechanical equipment and equipment control systems. Specify hardware for and design/write programs for control systems for industrial machinery. Electromechanical design responsibilities include: pneumatic, hydraulic circuits and motor control center specification; inverter and servo motor control; instrumentation and MMI hardware and software; operator console, controller hardware and sensor layout drawings. Conduct research. Review reliability data for equipment and identify areas for improvement. Select the best design alternative to meet parameters.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of five years of relevant experience. Experience should include exposure to and proficiency in multiple engineering disciplines.

EDUCATION:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering.

SKILLS:
Thorough knowledge of instrumentation, electrical codes and control systems standards required. Understanding of embedded operating systems and programming tools. Current with technical advancements in the control systems arena. Must be able to design and/or work with spreadsheets, databases, machine tool programming, CAD/CAM, CAM/CIM, ERP system. Good understanding of dynamics and process modeling. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work productively with a wide variety of stakeholders. Demonstrated planning, organizing and problem solving skills.
