Prepare criticality analysis reports and support the SRNS Criticality Safety Program as a qualified Criticality Safety Engineer. Scope of work includes the preparation and technical peer review of Criticality Safety Evaluation Reports (CSERs) to support operations and conducting analyses to include use of Handbook values, hand calculations and complex computer modeling using Monte Carlo Neutral Particle (MCNP) or equivalent to support CSER development. Other work scopes include inspection and surveillance support for project and program fissile material operations in the field.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
BS in nuclear engineering, physics, or a related field; or
an equivalent combination of technical education and experience with fissile materials.
Capability to perform computational analyses and write technical reports.

Desired Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of criticality safety analysis and fissile material operations support.
Familiarity with advanced analysis techniques such as MCNP and SCALE, with Pu and U processing facilities, with nuclear waste management, and with D&D activities in the DOE complex is desirable.

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
