As a for our organization some of your responsibilities will include:The Energy Solutions Business (ESB) within Cummins Power Generation is focused on profitably growing Cummins participation in the distributed generation market.The position will include but not necessarily be limited to the folllowing:Managing key service workflows such as:*technical support of ESB projects in the assigned region*Support of product improvement initiatives*Support distributors as they build / strengthen capabilities to support ESB products and projects*Design review paricipation for electrical and mechanical componenets and power generatin equipment*Lead PIR / PQC process input for North America*Manage project commissioning resources and scheduling*implementation of project specific Customer Support Plan*Manage Operation and Maintenance strategy /contract development and execution*Manage resources and deal with personnel issues*Develop the capability of team members*Interface with customers, individually and sometimes under dificult circumstances*Champion improvements by leading specific projects and applying Six Sigma tools*Lead the interace with ESB Global support group The Group Leader/Manager wil have a minimum of 3-5 years experience with increasing levels of responsibility. The desired candidate will preferably have experience in multiple functional areas.The desired candidate should also have a workiing knowledge of power electronics and recipricating engines; power plant control would be a plus.The candidate should also hold an engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical, Agricultural or Electrical Engineering.Compensation: Base salary commensurate with experience plus bonus.
