DC Field Technician

TITLE: DC Field Technician LOCATION: Columbus, Ohio DURATION: Direct Hire Our client has an immediate need for several experienced DC Field Technicians in Columbus, Ohio. These technicians will be working in everything from DC power installation, battery back up installation and battery maintenance as well as ground resistance testing and field- related engineering services. Most jobs deal with +24V and/or -48V power systems with amperage ratings of 100 to 10,000 amps. AC and DC power experience will be beneficial. You will be required to run and terminate all sizes of cable and be comfortable using various types of power tools as well as test equipment. This job requires overnight travel Monday thru Friday as well as some weekend stays with much of the work being performed at night.   REQUIREMENTS Ability to travel 100% a must Must be able to pass a 7 year background check with a clean driving history Must be able to pass a DOT physical and receive certification Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted and more with assistance Teamwork and customer service skills Ability to use power tools properly and safely
