More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www.aecom.com We are looking to hire a SCIENTIST I to support project work based in Dighton, MA.The candidate will be responsible for assisting with fisheries and water quality sampling associated with the operation of the Taunton River Desalination Plant in Dighton, MA. Duties include, but are not limited to assistance with finfish sampling utilizing gillnets, seines, fyke nets, and trawls, icthyoplankton surveys, and water quality assessments. Position will be part-time (up to 20 hr/week) during the winter months and closer to full time (30- 40 hr/week) during spring, fall and summer. Position is currently funded for one year however, there may be an extension of one or more years depending on monitoring plan requirements.
