Currently, the Enterprise Group has an opportunity for a Drafting Engineer/PCB Design to join our Enterprise Solutions Business team in the design and development of new data networking products. Job Description and Responsibilites Include: Designs and develops highly complex and detailed layouts of high density, multilayer printed circuit boards. Generates quotes for duration and effort of layout activities, calls and participates in design review (i.e. schematics, component placement, layouts, etc.) and provides design guidance to hardware primes. Works from preliminary schematics, part lists and basic description of the board function, configuration and arrangement as defined by engineering. Collaborates with manufacturing and test personnel to develop a physical layout that optimizes the board for manufacturability and test.Education and all minimum requirements Include: Associate degree in electronics or engineering or equivalent years. 5-10 years experience in pcb design Mentor expedition pcb experience preferred   Alcatel-Lucent is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
