Design Engineer EI - Entry Level

T.E.A.M. Panels International, a leading provider of pre-engineered, pre-fabricated, cold-formed steel trusses and building components for the western United States commercial market, is seeking an entry level Design Engineer EI.

Job responsibilities include:Ability to apply standard engineering principals and practices. Reading and interpreting architectural and structural construction drawings. Designing truss and building components using 3D computer modeling and finite element analysis software programs. Creating shop drawings including roof plans, wall sections, connection details and bill of materials for shop fabrication and field installation. Coordination with outside professional engineers, architects and clients.

Requirements:BS Engineering.  EI Certificate preferred. Computer software experience to include AutoCAD, Finite Element Analysis and Microsoft Office. Dedication and desire for quality performance. Planning and organizational skills. Able to work on own, be a self-starter and problem solver. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Very detail oriented.
