Developer Support

The SNAP Mobile Developer Support is in charge of all the developer related tasks.

He/she provides a technical support to multiple audiences on a global scale, each with different needs; including internal Nokia technical support and internal/external game developer teams. He/she works very closely with internal client and server development teams and operations to solve the escalated development issues in a timely manner. Ideally, he/she could address most of the escalated development issues by its own with the knowledge of the client development (experience in J2ME coding and understanding of SNAP Mobile API usage).

He/she also manages the publication of tools/documentations and the creation/implementation/maintenance of the support processes to enable our developers to develop top quality community-based games. These tasks require the project management involving several different groups on a global scale.



Other tasks include developer community support, developer/technical support staff training, trade show support and being the resource to solve any developer related issues.


- BA/BS in a relavent field (computer science, engineering, IT)

- 3+ years of J2ME development related experience

- Strong communication and team work skills

- Ownership and commitment to the position and the tasks

- J2ME programming experience is a major plus

- Experience in online game and/or mobile game development is a strong plus

- Technical support experience is a strong plus

We develop, distribute and maintain the mobile online middleware for J2ME games while providing a developer support server, community management service and a hosting service.
