Director, TV Experience at TiVo

Help us evolve the Emmy award-winning product that revolutionized television! TiVo's goal is to create a living room experience that is so easy, everyone in the household will love interacting with it. As we innovate our DVR functionality and add broadband and mobility features, we need to continue our tradition of "Smart. Simple. Fun. Connected."

The User Experience department (UI Design, Visual Design & Prototyping, Research, Writing, and Field Trials) works closely with Marketing, Customer Support, Product Management, and Engineering teams to create and refine our products and features. We have a collaborative, team-oriented, consensus-building approach to design, and believe in taking input and feedback from a wide variety of sources.

We are looking for an energetic, multi-talented, and motivated individual to be responsible for the experience of our TV products.

Here is what you'll get to do:
Work with Marketing and Product Management to define product goals and requirements Work with UI Designers, Visual Designers, Prototypers, Writers, and Researchers to create designs for our TV products Work with Researchers, Field Trials Program Managers, and Customer Support to understand the needs and desires of our users and the true state of our products Work with third-parties who are creating applications that run on our platforms Work with partners who license the TiVo experience for their products Own the UI style guidelines for TV Own the vision for the user experience of our TV products
