Director of Engineering!

This Managerial position will be assigned to the a large industrial ag-food complex (approx. $100,000,000 operation!). Responsibilities include directing and coordinating engineering and maintenance teams within mulitiple malt houses, a state of the art waste treatment facility, an extensive grain storage elevator system and office and warehouse facilities that operate in a 24-hour a day work environment.  In addition to an excellent compensation package there is an extremely generous benefit package that includes and annual company contribution of 15% of one's compensation toward the company pension program! The qualified candidate must have  A Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university 8 or more years experience in the manufacturing process and industrial operations 4 or more years experience in an industrial supervisory position Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities  Master's Degree in engineering or Agronomy or a food science Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Experience in directing maintenance, repair and replacement and replacement of operationg support equiment Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, repair techniques, preventative maintenance programs and scheduling Demonstrated ability to develop and institute processing and manufacturing best practices including re-engineering and process documentation Understanding of statistical analysis tools, ISO9000/22000 quality standards and critical control points (HACCP) Supervisory experience with union as well as non-union working environment Understanding of grain industry and agricultural product related issues Experience in the AG-Food mfg. process Ensure that any electronic mail response to the job posting has an attached resume and DirEngMN in the subject line  MRINetwork is the largest and most successful search organization in the world.
