Director of Surveying

A multi-disciplinary engineering firm located in Virginia has an immediate need for a Director of Surveying. Recognized as a leading consulting firm in the mid-Atlantic, we offer the ability to work within an ENR Top 500 firm.  The position is located in our Newport News office just minutes from the Atlantic Ocean. 

The Director of Surveying position will oversee all Surveying operations and will have duties including business development and marketing for the firm.  In addition, you will be responsible for the coordination of all projects from the office to the site while mentoring younger survey staff.

We maintain a high standard of work and therefore require that the qualified Director of Surveys maintain companywide QA/QC standards for established survey practices. You must have a background in GPS, robotic and conventional total stations, data collectors and data collection software.

You must be licensed in the state of Virginia with at least 10 years of experience in Engineering and Surveying.  Management and business development experience required.
