District Team Lead - Emergency Preparedness
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Epidemiology, Health Administration, Health Education, Hospital Administration, Public Administration, Public Health, Emergency Management, or a related area. Successful candidates will have a minimum of three years full-time professional experience in public health, community health,hospital administration, health education, emergency management, planning, training, volunteer management, military, or other related experience. Minimum one year supervisory experience. **US Citizenship Required** Job Description : Positions will be located in the following Indiana counties: Lake, Marshall, Allen, Tippecanoe, Hamilton, Delaware, Vigo, Lawrence, Scott, and Gibson. Directs, supervises and mentors district staff responsible for planning, training, exercising, volunteer management, and CRI coordination. Communicates regularly with the ISDH District Preparedness Manager to share challenges and to receive instructions and guidance. Attends trainings as required. Communicates regularly with other district team leads to share challenges, opportunities for coordination, and best practices. Coordinates and completes the Local Technical Assistance Review (LTAR) for each local health department within the district. Develops working relationships with local health departments, community health centers, local emergency management agencies, local law enforcement, the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, and other public health stakeholders. Meets monthly with each local health department within the district. Assists local health departments and the district as a whole in setting priorities for preparedness planning, training, exercise, and volunteer management activities. Provides expert technical assistance to district staff, local health departments, and other public health stakeholders related to public health preparedness and emergency response plans, policies, procedures, and other issues. Implements PHPER program goals, policies, and procedures. : : EOE M/F/D/V
