Document Control Engineering Technician - Libya

The company serves as the overall program manager of the HIB capital budget program – a comprehensive housing and infrastructure development program for Libya that will create an enhanced environment for its citizens and visitors.The scope of this effort includes the construction of new housing and infrastructure systems for all major cities in Libya; urban design and development; housing units and residential settlements; upgrades to existing infrastructure, roads, highways, bridges, water, wastewater and other utility systems; and environmentally focused sustainable processes.The project scope also includes the knowledge transfer and training of over 100 HIB executives, engineers, and technical specialists at AECOM global offices on program management, construction management and inspection, and planning and design.The Document Control Engineer Technician receives direction from the Project Controls Engineer.Typical Duties and Responsibilities Assist in the coordination of construction contracts Prepare construction contract correspondence for supervisor’s review Assist in performing drawing control functions Assist with the coordination of the RFI process and correspondence flow for change orders and modifications Assist with the evaluation of contractor progress Assist with the preparation and distribution of reports Assist in maintaining current records of contractor progress payments, contract drawings and other documents as required Liaison with field inspection team Assist in receipt of log in and distribution of contractor submittals, inspector reports, and contractor reports

EducationHigh School Diploma or Equivalent or NICET II certification.  Two plus years of related experience.Skills and Abilities · Computer literate · Good interpersonal skills · Good written and verbal communication skills
