PURPOSE: To introduce new products into the sheetmetal fabrication shop.  Includes unfolding of 3D models, light drafting, NC programming, soft tooling procurement and generating process routings.  Write ECO's to establish and maintain product BOM's.  Perform design for manufacture analysis to aid in cost reduction efforts.  Provide soft tooling analysis to support quoting activities PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES / DUTIES: Set up Process routings from Drawings Set up Bill of Materials from Drawings Unfold 3D models from Pro E Program NC Punch and Laser Efficiency improvements in the Sheetmetal Fabrication Department Compilation of Engineering technical documentation into required format 2 year related Associates degree preferred 3d modeling, Pro-E and/or Solid Works, NC Programming, Radan, Agile software capability a plus Solid Modeling in Sheetmetal dealing with unfolding modes required CAD drafting abilities NC Turret programming experience required - 3 years sheetmetal NC programming experience Systematic BOM/PLM experience required Extensive sheetmetal fabrication experience - minimum of 5 years required experience Production set-up and process flow implementation experience strongly recommended Strong interpersonal and customer-oriented skills  Flextronics is an Equal Opportunity EmployerClick here to apply for this job http://flextronics.ats.hrsmart.com/cgi-bin/pm/click.cgi?job_id=8174&site_id=123
