For more information on our locations click on please see http://www.chevron.com/operationsQualifications:Position Overview:The Drill Site Manager will be Chevron's on-site representative for the safe and environmentally compliant drilling, completion, and workover / intervention operations in the North America and international operations. Operations consist of drilling, completion and intervention operations on offshore or onshore wells. Key Job Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:• Direct day to day operations on drilling, completion, workover and intervention operations • Manage rig contractor personnel and service partners• Manage logistics for personnel and equipment to and from location• Provide accurate daily reports to superintendent• Maintain accurate cost controlRequired Basic Qualifications:• High School Diploma or GED• A minimum of 6 years of industry experience • Strong communication skills are imperative and some positions require demonstrated deepwater operations skill sets.• Applicants must be able to successfully complete IADC Well Control training in order to achieve certification for well control. Additional technical training will be available through company's internal training program. • IADC Well Control Certificate (or equivalent) is preferred, but can be provided by company for successful applicant after hiring.• Flexibility in assignment types is mandatory. Positions are both US domestic and international rotational assignments. Typical assignment schedules are 14 days on / 14 days off for US assignments and 28 days on / 28 days off for international assignments.• Strong emphasis on safety of personnel and assures compliance with all applicable environmental regulations & policies.• Demonstrated experience in supervision of on site drilling, completion and workover operations.Preferred Qualifications:• Bachelor Degree• Demonstrates ability to apply new technology • Needs to have a BOP certification or the ability to receive one• Experience in personnel mentoring and training, and participation in evaluation processNOTE: Resumes submitted in response to this job opening may be reviewed and processed for Chevron by independent service partners.Relocation benefits will be considered.Expatriate Assignments will be considered.This is a safety sensitive Position.*Chevron is continuously seeking qualified applications for these positions in many geographic locations.
