ELECTRO/MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER

Description:The position performs a wide variety of electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Works on assignments that are semi routine in nature, but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice. Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.Qualifications:High School Diploma.- Typically requires minimum of 3 year of related experience.- Performs sub-panel and enclosure layout and mounting of all system hardware components in accordance with mechanical drawings.- Performs all system wiring as per electrical engineering drawings: schematics, wiring diagrams, and/or wire lists.- Experience working with small power tools.- Knowledge of SAE tap-drill and hardware sizes, NPT thread and conduit sizes.- Must be available and willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays to meet customer project commitments.- Experienced with working on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.- Physically capable of lifting packages and components weighing 15 to 40 pounds.Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceRockwell Automation offers a competitive benefit plan.
