ELECTRO- MECHANICAL FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN – APPLETON, WI.

 

$36,000 to $43,000 ($17 to $21 per hour) base salary to start plus extensive employee and medical benefits, company vehicle, time and a half overtime pay and a solid opportunity for career advancement.  Full product training will be provided.

Continued growth in the Appleton, Wisconsin market area creates an opportunity for a technically inclined and career oriented person with a solid background in the electrical and mechanical fields.  Ideally we seek an individual that has acquired a good technical background in the electrical field (480v - 3 phase) with hands-on experience with industrial AC/DC motors, motor controls and power distribution. The work will involve troubleshooting industrial motor controls and 3 phase circuits, repairing motors and gearbox systems and other planned maintenance activities at Customer sites.  

 

Once trained, you will be assigned a company vehicle and of course, a good driving record is a necessary requirement.  In addition, the work requires one that has no fear of heights.

 

Following an in depth training period, part of which will include working with skilled Technicians with extensive field experience, you will take on the role of a Field Service Technician.  This work will involve working with Customers at their plants and requires individuals who are clear communicators, friendly by nature and able to professionally represent one of the most successful organizations in the industry. 

 

This career opportunity offers an attractive base salary in the $36,000 to $43,000 range, depending upon your experience, plus paid overtime which will normally add 20% to 25% to your base income per year.  As such, you must be willing to work overtime and handle periodic weekends and on-call situations.  In addition, they provide a company vehicle and expenses plus a fully comprehensive medical/dental/health employee benefits plan and a lucrative 401K program.
