ELECTRO -  MECHANICAL FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN – RICHMOND, VA.

$17 to $21 per hour based on your experience, plus a comprehensive medical/dental employee benefits package, company vehicle, time and a half overtime pay and a solid opportunity for career advancement.  Full product training will be provided.

This long established international material handling equipment manufacturer and service provider has been recognized as one of the 500 best companies to work for in America. Their product range covers all overhead cranes and lifting solutions for virtually all industries around the globe. These products are highly engineered and fully supported by highly trained technical staff.

Using state of the art technology coupled with superior training and a proven philosophy of employee retention, they have achieved the position of Market Leader worldwide in the field of advanced overhead lifting solutions and maintenance services. Their growth over the past 5 years has averaged 20% per year and last year exceeded 26%. They maintain this leadership by attracting and supporting high character, career minded people - people that understand that the reason for their success boils down to being able to build and maintain superior customer relationships.  It is worth noting that many of their most successful employees have been those that began their careers within the proud tradition of the United States Military.

Continued growth in the Richmond, Virginia market area creates an opportunity for a technically inclined and career oriented individual with a hands-on background in the industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance field. Ideally, we seek individuals that have acquired solid technical training/experience in the industrial electrical field (3 phase  - 480V circuitry and related electrical controls) and are highly mechanically oriented. The work will involve troubleshooting overhead cranes which consist of industrial motor controls, repairing motors and gearbox systems and other planned maintenance activities at Customer sites. Once trained, you will be assigned a company service vehicle and of course, a good driving record is a necessary requirement.  In addition, the work requires one that has no fear of heights.

Following an in depth training period, part of which will include working with skilled Technicians with extensive field experience, you will take on the role of a Field Service Technician.  This work will involve working with Customers at their plants and requires individuals who are clear communicators, friendly by nature and able to professionally represent one of the most successful organizations in the industry.

These career opportunities offer an attractive base salary in the $35,500 to $43,500 range, depending upon your experience, plus paid overtime which will normally add 20 to 25 percent to your base income per year.  Currently, a trained Technician earns in the $60, 000 plus range per year.

In addition, they provide other performance based financial rewards, a company vehicle and all vehicle operating expenses as well as a fully comprehensive medical / dental health employee benefits plan and a lucrative company matching 401K program.

This organization is the worldwide leader in their industry and has maintained their position because they provide individuals with secure long term growth oriented careers, giving people increased responsibility and financial rewards as you grow in your experience and ability.  It is truly an organization where the right person can join them today and be assured of a secure long term career, steadily increasing financial compensation and on-going recognition for performance.

This opportunity is immediate.  Interviews will be held in Richmond shortly.  If you feel you can bring the ability, desire and character we are seeking, we invite you to email your resume in Word or .rtf format to Robert Kennedy at the email address below.  In addition, we will welcome your call at 1-800-251-0960 to discuss this career opportunity in detail.
