ENGINEERING MANAGER – YOUR SECOND CAREER We are seeking a Senior Engineering Leader with background in offshore structure technology and design who is looking for a second career.Our client is a 20 year old established and growing company focused on supplying the offshore oil and gas industry with engineering expertise in structural asset integrity management. Our client provides design, manufacturing, consulting, delivery and installation supervision to the world’s main offshore markets.  Using own proprietary product designs, our client is focused on innovative methods and new products to improve lagging industry standards; resulting in a much more reliable and cost-effective approach to maintaining offshore structures.Reporting to the President and working with the Chief Operating Officer, the Engineering Manager will mentor and develop the engineering team while managing the team to complete design and in-house product development to meet customer needs.  Also will provide leadership to coordinate the efforts of four Project Managers.The ideal candidate will have completed their professional engineering career with a major oil and gas company or with a leading offshore engineering services organization. Key experience will included 10 to 20 years of experience in Offshore Oil & Gas Structures; proven engineering Project Management roles; Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Chemical or Marine engineering. Working understanding of Corrosion Engineering principles. Advanced Degrees and PE a plus.
