DMJM Harris is seeking a Senior Environmental Planner with 10 to 15 years of experience in regulatory permitting for our Iselin, NJ office.  The candidate should be knowledgeable on NJDEP and USACE regulations and ideally have a background in transportation engineering.  A BS in environmental science or a related field is required.  The position entails the following responsibilities:  Conducting wetland delineations and a working knowledge of regulatory agency jurisdictions Conducting field studies including wildlife and/or rare plant surveys Consistent and ongoing communication with other project team members, regulatory agencies and clients Writing and editing of technical reports and proposals Conducting research, mapping, report writing, and other project-related duties and analyses Developing a working knowledge of the wetland permitting process Assisting with permit applications and related environmental documents The candidate should also have the following attributes:  Excellent technical writing and editing abilities Excellent computer skills: MSWord, Excel, Outlook, database, internet Proficient time management skills, efficient, organized, ability to prioritize Detail-oriented, without losing sight of the big picture Excellent interpersonal communication skills Dedicated, motivated, and proactive
