Explore the opportunity of world-changing work available to you below.We have an immediate need in our St Louis office for a Registered Electrical Engineer to join our industrial client group. This team designs power distribution, lighting, auxiliary systems, and installation of process control systems for new industrial plants and modifying existing industrial plants. Projects range from warehouses to complex EPC contract with wiring and routing for heavy industrial processes and overseeing electrical contractors. Our customers are leaders in their industries: Chemical, Consumer Products, Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, Food & Beverage, Metals and General Manufacturing.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from ABET accredited university* Registered Professional Engineer (PE)* Minimum five years of electrical engineering experience* Minimum 5 years experience producing plan drawings, single line drawings, schematics, wiring* Minimum 5 years experience with Microstation diagrams, details, and specifications for construction packages* Electrical experience in power distribution system design, lighting system design, grounding system design, and auxiliary systems design for industrial facilities.* Experience in design of power, cabling, and raceway systems for process electrical control systems.* Auxiliary systems experience to include creation of performance specifications and location of devices for fire alarm systems, public address systems, security systems, and telecommunications (voice and data) systems.* Lighting system experience to include calculation of lighting levels, selection of fixtures, and design of lighting control systems.* Current or prior employment with an architectural/engineering (A&E) firmPreferred Qualifications:* NCEES registration is a plus* Experience with 3D modeling software such as Revit MEP 2008 is a plus but not required and training is provided* Master's degree in Electrical Engineer (MSEE) is preferred but not a requirement* Experience designing or retrofitting food and beverage manufacturing facilities is idealBenefits: Medical and Dental Plans Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance Short Term and Long Term Disability Income 401(k) Plan with company match Employee Ownership Paid Time Off Program Flexible Work Scheduling Business Casual Dress Learning and Development Opportunities Tuition ReimbursementEmployee Assistance Program Voluntary Auto and Homeowners InsuranceCompany Profile:Employee-owned CH2M HILL is a global leader in engineering, procurement, construction and operations for public and private clients.
