Electrical Engineer-Electro-optic Infrared Systems SME

A Top Secret security clearance is required for consideration. Candidate must have Subject Matter Expertise in EO/IR design, analysis, and developing system performance tests that evaluate operational system requirements.  Provide problem solving of a high tech / high precision electro-optic products for Department of Homeland Security and Department of Defense programs.  Work on projects from inception to completion, playing a primary role in the development of designs as well as test and evaluation.  Work with engineering, test and program engineering teams, to develop test plans and methodologies.  Minimum Requirements: BS/MS in Engineering; plus a minimum of 10 years industry experience developing and/or testing electro-optic imaging systems.  Candidate must have strong systems engineering experience developing prototype technology, and manufacturability of test products and strong experience with electro-optic infrared systems and products - such as FLIR systems, thermal imagers, micro-bolo-meters, infrared cameras, imaging and camera detection systems, etc..  Must demonstrate history of strong leadership role supporting the design, development, and manufacturing of electro-optic systems - including thermal imaging systems; EO/IR sensors; image intensifier systems; laser rangefinders, solid state imagers; focal plane array technology - for military and commercial applications.CIBER, Inc.
