Gulf Interstate Engineering, one of the world's largest full service onshore pipeline engineering companies, has an immediate opening for a lead electrical engineer - power in our Houston office.

You will be a lead  member of a team responsible for the electrical engineering and design of motor controls, pump, compressor and metering stations, switchgear and substations associated with onshore petroleum pipeline projects.

Required skills experience: Low and medium voltage power system design (110V, 480V, 5kV, 13.8kV), metal clad and metal enclosed switchgear design, soft starters for motors and motor wiring, substation design and variable frequency drives.

Required education and work experience: Minimum of BS in EE with 8+ years experience. PE and pipeline experience, preferred.
