Electrical Engineer - R&D

JOB SUMMARY:

R & D Electrical Engineer for design and development of medical products and industrial instrumentation.  Firmware and hardware are key responsibilities along with test, troubleshooting and documentation.  Contract with potential to lead to direct hire.

 

REQUIRED BACKGROUND:BS in Electrical Engineering3+ years related experience in electronic instrumentation development with particular emphasis on hardware and firmware.Good written and oral communication

 

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:Electrical design experience with 8, 16, and 32-bit micro-controllers / microprocessors, analog circuitry design for biological signals and low power portable electronics in an embedded environment.Software experience with C and/or assembly language in an embedded environmentExperience with schematic capture toolsAbility for assemble prototypes used in the developmentAbility to troubleshoot analog, digital and microprocessor based circuitry to component levelAbility to create bills of material, work instructions and test procedures relevant to the manufacture of electronic medical devices
