We are currently hiring in Lawrenceville, GA for the following: Electrical Engineer / Team Lead Job Description: The candidate will be a key team member in the development of RF and Optical products for next generation high speed data and video transmission networks. The candidate will be responsible for leading a small development team of engineers. Candidates should be flexible in future assignments in assuming a lead project engineering role and/or an individual designer role on a project team as necessary.Responsibilities Include: Developing and monitoring a project schedule that includes all or a subset of the following: FPGA design, embedded SW development, digital board design, optics design and RF design. Working across engineering organizations in other geographic locations for integration of overall product development. Understanding system aspects of the product design and helping to guide overall technical approach. Identifying critical project issues and elevating these issues so they are addressed in an expediently.   Depending on project load, take an active role in a portion of product development.The successful candidate should have a technical background in FPGA design, RF circuit design and/or digital circuit design. A higher level understanding of how these functions integrate into a product system is crucial. Required Experience: BSEE 8+ years’ product development experience, preferably split among several technology areas, including but not limited to FPGA design, digital HW design, RF HW design etc. 1+ years’ engineering project leadership. Preferred Experience: MSEE Development experience split among several technology areas including but not limited to FPGA design, digital HW design, RF HW design etc. CATV or telecommunications product experience.
