Description:Eaton's Electrical Services & Systems division has an opening for a Supervisor - Engineering in Maine. The responsibilities of this position include overseeing day-to-day operations of the Maine office, including manpower, financials and sales and marketing. The supervisor will prepare plans, including schedules, financial forecasts, budgets and personnel requirements for solving major problems or tasks as required. The supervisor will assist the District Manager in developing and implementing the approved profit plan for the district, taking corrective action as required, within limits of authority, to meet overall goals. Maintain effective relationships with and service to customers. Identify and develop prospective new customers. Interface and coordinate with other plants and business units within the company and outside vendors to procure parts and services for the district. Assure an effective and skilled staff through recruiting, goal setting, communications, development, appraisal and conformance to applicable company policies. Assure the security and effective allocation of company resources and assets. Keep current on the trends and significant issues in the local marketplace providing direction for the strategic planning process. The position requires 7-10 years of equivalent power distribution field experience in servicing, maintaining and testing electrical power distribution equipment. The supervisor will provide leadership, scheduling, P&L responsibilities, sales, marketing and safety for the employees. The supervisor will be responsible for carrying out company policies and providing local market knowledge.
