The Training Instructor conducts evaluations and assessments to determine the effectiveness of the training process. The Training Instructor is responsible for maintaining administrative controls associated with the systematic approach to training for the Instrumentation & Control training program in accordance with industry standards. The Training Instructor provides initial and continuing training to new hires and incumbent personnel and others as deemed necessary. The Training Instructor evaluates trainee performance when applicable. Delivery of training occurs in a variety of settings with other instructors and other groups in accordance with the accredited training processes and all applicable codes and regulations. Experience candidates should possess expertise/familiarity with power plant operations as well as technical expertise in electrical maintenance. Candidates must have demonstrated an ability to interface well with people, communicate effectively, and express ideas clearly, concisely, and accurately both orally and in writing. Candidates must be able to effectively present training material to various class sizes with varied entry-level knowledge. Previous experience as an Electrical Maintenance Training Instructor (from an INPO accredited training program), or 3 to 5 years experience as an Electrical Maintenance technician or Electrical Maintenance Supervisor is desired.
