Electrical/Mechanical Engineer

Founded in 1986, Coler & Colantonio, Inc., is a multidisciplinary firm of engineers and scientists providing high quality engineering services across a diverse range of market segments, geographic locations and project types.  We have established client bases in the energy, private and public market sectors.  In the energy sector we perform feasibility studies, survey engineering, permitting and design/build services associated with the distribution and transmission of energy across the country.

 

We are currently looking for an Electrical/Mechanical engineer with significant experience to join our energy Infrastructure Market Sector located out of our Waltham Office.  This position is responsible for a wide variety of engineering tasks in the energy infrastructure industry.  Duties will include: 

 Provide bid preparation support for mechanical engineering components of energy infrastructure projects including project scope, schedules and estimates.Engineer project solutions utilizing knowledge from a variety of engineering sub-specialties including pipe sizing, pressure ratings, valve selection and component specification.Design engineering drawings for each phase and component of the projectCoordinate project and design activities with client engineering counterparts and ensure clear communication including project status reportsProvide quality control review of pipeline station designs for cost, safety, optimization and compliance with project specifications.Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clientsReview designs for consistency with industry standards.

 

Position requirements;  MUST have PE, 7-10 years’ experience to include metering and regulating natural gas systems and facilities.
