Electrical Power System Engineering Analyst

Position Description:

Perform calculations related to the following: load flow and short circuit studies, power flow studies, system stability studies, transient over-voltage studies, and system impact studies for new generation plants. Additional areas of activities include electricity market studies and generation planning expansion with expected load growth scenarios. Other duties include preparing conceptual designs for grounding systems, generating station electrical auxiliary power systems, protective relaying, cable ampacity, cathodic and lighting protection as part of the technical analytical support to our project teams and clients.

Qualifications:

Requires a Master's degree in electrical engineering with an emphasis in Power Systems Analysis is desired. Requires a minimum of 5 years experience performing power analysis within the Power Industry. Strong written and oral communications skills are essential. Requires experience performing transient analysis of power systems using software such as: PSS/E, ETAP, EDSA, and ATP. A PE license is a plus.
