Electrical Project Engineer

Our client is a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm with numerous office throughout the US.  Through continued growth, a position is available for an electrical project engineer in their Madison, Wisconsin office.  This position will involve designing electrical power, lighting, fire alarm, security, and other special systems associated with military, aviation, industrial and commercial buildings. Normal and customary business travel will be required.

The successful candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) with at least five (5) years of building systems experience (such as lighting, power distribution, communications, fire detection, and/or electrical construction standards).  Professional registration required (WI preferred).

The ideal candidate will be familiar with any/all of the following software: CADD, lighting, word processing, and spreadsheet computer programs.  The ideal candidate will also be self-motivated; able to handle a fast-paced position; able to work well under pressure; goal- and deadline-oriented; and will possess good writing skills; good organizational and communication skills; good problem-solving ability; good listening skills; and the ability interact with clients and management staff.

Requiments:

BSEE, MSEE preferred
Five (5) years of design and project engineering experience
Registered Professional Engineer in WI, or ability to obtain with 1 year
Strong electrical power, lighting, fire alarm, security and systesms design
Autocad
