* Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, upgrades and modifications to in house equipment including thermal chambers and other controller-based equipment.

* Fabricate components, sub assembles or complete control systems as needed.

* Provide facility support for general maintenance and repairs.

* Maintain a log of all equipment repair and maintenance.

* Continuous improvement of PM procedures and equipment documentation.

* Must be a self-starter and able to multitask; able to work within a group or alone.

* Open to diverse job requirements and change of priorities.

* Must be able to set up and maintain parts inventory. Required Skills



* Basic plumbing, copper soldering, ball valves, check valves.

* Moderate electrical: 480v 3 phase, EMT installation, equipment wiring, start/stop relays.

* Familiar with NEC

* Familiarity with Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.

* Basic Electronics: wiring, soldering and AC/DC controller circuits.

* Moderate Controls: solenoids, relays, ssr, scr, power circuits, 0-10vdc, 4-20ma, o Loop calibration - Watlow thermo controllers a plus.

* Basic computer skills, MS Word and Excel.

* Basic machine shop: Cut off saw, Drill press, Belt sanders, bench and hand grinders, hand drills, welding a plus. Experience preferred: 

* 48VDC high current rectifiers preferred.

* Commercial Refrigeration preferred.

* Experience with air dryers, air compressors, pneumatics, RO water systems and humidity systems preferred. Required Experience



3-5 years maintaining electromechanical equipment such as thermal chambers, controller-based equipment, steam generators, heaters and chillers.
