Embedded Engineer with Low Level Device Driver Experience

Location: South Plainfield, NJ 07080 Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Expected Duration: 2+ to 5 Years Reference Code: NYJWindowsmobile We are looking for an Embedded Engineer with C, C++ embedded development skills.  Position will be responsible for low leve device driver debugging.The position will include Integration testing.  Must have 1 year minimum experience working with Windows Mobile, preferably Smartphone.  Must understand basic Windows Mobile architecture (physical & application layers).  Must know how build code with Windows Mobile.  Must have C/C++ experience, including driver level debugging.  Must know how to use KITL to obtain logs.  Must have experience using a Version Control package, preferably Rational ClearCase.  Environment:Windows Mobile Smartphone, C/C++, CDMA rev-A, GSM, HP 8960 base station simulator.This position involves testing software features of cell phones in a Windows Mobile environment. This includes following as well as enhancing test plans to support integration of new features. There will be two kinds of testing: Functional (features, or requirements based testing) and Interaction (integration testing). A secondary task is Windows Mobile driver level debugging, using KITL to obtain logs.The candidate shall be capable of testing mobile features in a Windows Mobile environment.This includes following as well as enhancing test plans to support integration of new features.The candidate shall be familiar with Windows mobile driver level debugging this includes taking of logs using KITL and be able to learn quickly how to log Qualcomm base band issues.The candidate shall be able to use base station simulators which includes HP 8960 base station simulators to make calls in both CDMA rev-A and GSM calls.The candidate shall be able to debug using Clearcase to isolate issues that have come into the build.
