Position Overview -You will be planning and leading thetest activities including development of test plans and procedures, scheduling and coordinating of resources and interfacing withother engineering disciplines to ensureaccurate testingcriteria and systemsrequirements -Leading thefield and flight test activities with the customer to support lab tests, qualifications tests and flight test activities. Creating and maintaining required documentation, reports and activity logs for this function. -You will be teaming with analyststo identify test objectives and goals. -Have a strong skill set understanding and utilizing engineering flight test engineering concepts and have strong troubleshooting capability with complex radar and avionics systems, and be knowledgeable of flight test instrumentation and telemetry. -Participate in manufacturing, assembly and integration for flight systems and ground test of hardware; be familiar with the practice of quality control relating to software & hardware integration, lab & field testing, acceptance testing and formal qualification testing. -Be a department T&E leaderand potentially be the IPT Lead for current andemerging T&E programs. -You will manage, design, and develop schedule-constrained projects for achieving specific test goals -Be required to travel and be in the field periodically throughout product development and testing.Education and Experience -BS in EE, Aeronautical, Physics, Math or Computer Science with 12 plus years experience with test and evaluation of missiles and / or complex radar and avionics systems at the sub-system and system level with Test and Evaluation experience working in the Electronic Warfare industry. -Have good writing and communications skills and be able to write test plans, technical reports and present test results in a clear and concise manner and have experience scheduling and working with Microsoft Project -Experience working on or with F-18 and helicopter platforms aplus -Knowledge of requirements tractability and ability to write and develop proposals. -US Citizenship required and ability to obtain a secret clearance ATK offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, recognition for individual skills and accomplishments, and advancement opportunities.ATK is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
