Engineer 4- Aircraft Manufacturing Specialist

Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, logistics or related, 7 years of manufacturing experience are required. At least 3 years of this experience must be associated with government weapon system acquisition. Additional 3 years of manufacturing experience may substitute for Bachelor's degree. Air Force or Joint aircraft acquisition experience and APDP certifications are considered pluses.Candidates should possess excellent communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs; mastery of Department of Defense and Air Force configuration management policies, procedures and tools.Position requires current DoD Secret Security Clearance, or possession of clearance within past 2 years. We are currently seeking Configuration Managers to support Air Force Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC) acquisition programs at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and other CONUS locations. ASC program offices are responsible for development, production and life cycle sustainment of new aircraft, modifications, and integrated weapon systems. The manufacturing specialist will provide expert advice, documentation, and production tracking and audit assistance to a government program office. The manufacturing specialist will also assist the government program office with requirements analysis and implementation and compliance with engineering directives and procedures.
