The Laurel, Maryland office of Greenhorne & O’Mara, Inc. has an opportunity for an Engineer II.

 

The ideal candidate must have these absolute and basic qualifications:Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering or related degree FE or EIT 3+ years of design experience in some or all of the following areas: grading, storm water management, flood plain modeling, water quality, storm drain design, street grade establishment design, sediment and erosion control design



Preferred skills that will assist the candidate in succeeding in the role are:

· PE registration

· Local design experience in Prince George's County, Charles County, or Washington DC

 

Job duties include the preparation of the types of plans listed above, as well as processing plans for approval at agencies and processing permits.  Will work independently and may assist with training junior engineers.
