Job Responsibilities:

l  All aspects of automation engineering including Mechanical, Electrical, Controls and Software

l  Engineering systems integration including data acquisition, instrumentation, automated test equipment, process control, quality control & inspection, motion control, vision systems, robotics, machine design & build, etc.

l  Implement mission-critical solutions that coordinate diverse, multi-vendor, multi-platform tools and technologies

l  Specify and procure system components to satisfy design specs

l  Assemble and configure automation system hardware

l  Write, test and debug software modules and hardware integration

l  Install automation systems at client facilities and train operators

l  Instruct week-long engineering and application development courses

l  Work independently and on group projects in a professional office environment

l  Short term travel to domestic and international sites 20% - 30% annually

l  Follow CSIA-audited industry best practices to reduce client risk

l  Follow DSA project execution methodologies to Plan, Implement, Educate and Support

 

 

Personal Qualifications:

Academic Qualifications:

l  B.S. and/or M.S. Degree in Engineering or Science, 3.0 GPA or higher

l  0 - 5 years experience with engineering and programming

 

Software Qualifications:

l  Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Professional

l  National Instruments LabVIEW, TestStand, LabWindows/CVI, Real-Time and Embedded programming

l  Other skills: VB, C/C++, PID, DSP, SQL, SPC, ADO, Visio, AutoCAD, SolidWorks
