Entry Drafter/CADD Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM's mission by: Preparing drawings from markups, charts, and tables Performing related fundamental engineering support tasks (plotting drawings, preparing transmittals, preparing overnight packages, updating computer lists, filing prints, distributing drawings, making simple calculations, proofreading reports, etc.) Preparing simple engineering and construction drawings from sketches or verbal instructions Utilizing manual or computer-assisted drafting/design techniques per company standards Possibly utilizing information from vendor prints, catalogs, technical manuals, etc. Supporting field assignments as required.

REQUIREMENTS

Entry-level classification normally requiring a high school graduate with vocational technical training in basic drafting technology (or equivalent working knowledge/experience). This includes a working knowledge of fundamental CADD applications.
