Entry-Level Project Controls Specialist

 

AMEC is an international project management and services company that designs, delivers and supports client assets for customers worldwide across the public and private sectors.  We currently have an exceptional opportunity for an Entry-Level Project Controls Specialist located in our Minneapolis, MN, office.

 

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related

· Some experience or internship with construction company or engineering firm is preferred

· Change Order Management training or experience

· Strong communication skills, both written and oral

· Training or internship experience in Estimating or Scheduling

· MS Project or Primavera training or experience

 

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

· Assists in the preparation and revision of routine project documentation

· Maintains databases and monitors hours and costs to assist in determining trends

· Prepares routine control and cost reports and assists in the preparation of cost studies

· Assists in the development of estimates for minor contract scope changes, extra work orders, and minor projects

· Develops and updates work schedules and checks documentation
