Environmental Engineer / Project Manager

Job Purpose:

Accomplishes project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities.

Duties:

* Manage and oversee the collection, transportation and disposal of household hazardous waste (paints, aerosols, oils, lawn mowers, etc)

Oversee the sampling of contaminated sites

Perform statistical analysis of environmental data

Maintain up-to-date hazardous waste database

Handle distribution of permits, closure plans, and clean-up plans

Manage or assist in emergency responses

Work with and provide basic technical and program assistance to local community and government reps.

Make or assist with presentations and meetings

Research resources using computers and publications

Analyze sites and take effective action

Make or assist with field inspections

Other duties as assigned
