The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing and executing projects which require environmental engineering services. In this position, the person may also serve as Section Manager where they will be responsible for assisting with staffing, training, mentoring of staff, business development, and staff scheduling. The Senior Project Manager will coordinate and write proposals, manage communication with the client and project team, control the project cost, schedule and quality of work., and will also have business development responsibility. Typical projects may include assessment, evaluation, troubleshooting, permitting and compliance assistance, design, and engineering services for remediation sites and operating facilities in the Gulf Coast Area. Projects may require development of process design for pollution control or remediation systems for air, wastewater, groundwater, or other media. Process design projects will typically include options evaluation, process flow diagrams, equipment specifications, and heat and material balances. S. in Environmental, Chemical or Civil Engineering. M. S. preferred. Minimum of 8 years of related experience. The successful candidate will have completed OSHA HAZWOPER training, will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software and will possess strong technical writing and proposal preparation skills. Texas/Louisiana PE preferred.
