The Senior Project Specialist will design, manage and implement investigation/remediation projects with the assistance of Sr. Project Managers. The project scope will involve groundwater and soil investigation, site characterization, remedial alternative analysis, remedial design, remedial implementation, and report and administrative paperwork. Field work may include the collection of soil and groundwater samples, subcontractor oversight, system operation and maintenance, etc. The Sr. Project Specialist will also analyze environmental data to provide recommendations to the Project Team.QualificationsThe qualified candidate should have experience in remediation system design and installation (oversight), be capable of developing remedial systems design drawings and specifications and/or work within a design team to develop design drawings and specifications. The successful candidate should be capable of working with construction contractors, should possess strong proposal/technical writing skills, strong communication skills and act as a professional role model to mentor junior staff. A BS or MS in Civil, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering is required and the candidate should possess strong computer skills such as MS project, Excel, and Word.
