Position: Escrow Manager/Officer

 

Location:  Scottsdale, Arizona

 

Position Overview:

 

Mission Equity Properties, LLC, is seeking an Escrow Officer to facilitate the purchase of private property throughout the Southwest.

 

Reporting to the Vice President, the officer will drive transactions from beginning to end by working with multiple title/escrow companies as well as the sellers themselves by phone and email.  Multi-tasking is required.

 

Qualifications:

 

We are seeking a candidate who is transaction-oriented and understands the dynamics of the escrow process.  The successful candidate must have experience with completing land real estate transactions and fully understanding the dynamics of a title commitment and/or preliminary title report.

 

This is not a sales position and the candidate will not be responsible for securing or negotiating transactions.

 

Real Estate Agents and Loan Officers / Mortgage Brokers need not apply.

 

Finally, this position is very process driven.  The right candidate will ensure the accurate flow of information through the acquisition department as well as accurate management of the acquisition database.  Strong typing and mathematical skills will be required.  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Office applications including Microsoft Access is required.

Previous experience working closely with escrow officers and title agents is required.

 

Details and Responsibilities:

 The ability to track several hundred transactions at once through the steps and phases in our acquisition process.  Attention to detail is paramount.

 Phone based customer service will be required.

 Proficient skills with electronic filing and scanning.  We try to be paperless.

 

Candidate will be compensated via 1099 independent contractor status for a 6 month period at which time the position will become permanent.
