Executive / Major Account Representative: East Coast

This position is a home office-based position. Applicants may work from a home-based office anywhere on the East Coast. We prefer candidates located near a major airport.

The Executive / Major Account Representative is responsible for major and national accounts and will be the primary point of contact for business opportunities with Siemens Building Technologies for Sylvania Lighting Services, the #1 Lighting Services company in the US. The East Coast territory ranks among the highest in the region for sales volume, market share and market potential.

PLEASE NOTE:
EXPERIENCE IN THE INDUSTRIAL COMMERCIAL SALES CHANNEL, LIGHTING SERVICES OR ENERGY MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY PREFERRED.

General duties:

Sell lighting maintenance, relamp and retrofit programs to end-user facility maintenance engineers, energy managers and purchasing professionals.

Primary sales focus on selling interior and exterior turn-key lighting service and energy management programs to retail chains, distribution centers and commercial office buildings. Other key sales channels include banks, energy service companies and industry.


Partner with other Osram Sylvania Inc. sales channels to build existing end-user relationships and uncover new business opportunities

This is an end-user direct sales position with an average selling cycle of 3-7 months.

Moderate travel required for this position.

OSI Band F
Bachelors degree (engineering or business related field most desirable) and 3-5 years end-user sales experience.

Experience in the industrial commercial sales channel, lighting services or energy management industry is highly desirable.

Direct end-user sales experience required.

Knowledge of lamps ballasts, fixtures and other lighting energy management products is a plus.
