Bachelor's degree 10+ years of process flow control sales management experience, preferably with a specialty distributor Excellent oral and written skills Strong computer proficiency
The Position
The FCX East Coast Division President reports to the President and will have full division P&L responsibility and be accountable for the division's day-to-day operating activities including sales, vendor relations, customer service, expense and margin control and monthly, quarterly and annual goals.
The ideal candidate will have personal energy and style to set an overall organizational tone of integrity, competence, inspiration and optimism. They must be able to objectively assess performance and listen carefully to all team members; establish strong and effective working relationships with people inside and outside of the division; and plan, budget, schedule and supervise multiple projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibility Areas
Leads the Division's operations by directing and coordinating day-to-day activities consistent with established goals, objectives, policies and procedures as set forth by the company’s senior management team.
Achieve sales, profits and profitability consistent with the division's business plan.
Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and customers. Work with local sales management and outside salesmen to grow FCX market share, expand existing vendor relationships and establish new vendor relationships where necessary.
Review the division's overall business operation to ensure that it is running efficiently, and provide accurate, meaningful feedback/information on a timely basis.
On a timely basis, keeps senior management informed of significant business issues involving the division and its employees, customers and vendors.
Monitor and evaluate division performance relative to the business plan and recommend changes as growth, industry trends, and market conditions dictate.
