FIVR DTE Engineer
Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA), a national leader in scientific and engineering research and development, has an immediate position for an engineer to join our growing research and development team at our location in Panama City, FL. The candidate will be expected to play a leading role in all phases of design, testing, and evaluation of portable mechanical systems for military applications. This position will provide support in the following responsibility areas: analyzing system specifications; designing prototype models; generating drawings; specifying system components; overseeing the fabrication of the prototype models, preparing standard operating procedures; testing the prototype systems; developing test and evaluation plans; coordinating field tests under simulated or actual environments per military testing protocols. The ideal candidate will have a University degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred), experience in test and evaluation of systems for military and/or medical applications, computer and communication skills as well as system engineering, particularly configuration management, for prototype system development. Knowledge in cGMP, cGLP, and IQ, PQ and OQ of medical devices would be a plus.
