Field Application Engineer

This position is a combination of engineering, business development, and customer support in a dynamic technology marketplace. This intelligent, self driven individual will work in a fast paced, team oriented environment calling on top hardware technology companies in the area.

The Field Application Engineer will be responsible for providing product related technical services and support including schematics and block diagram review and recommendations, EV kit offering, technical assistance, new product proposal, and in depth technical expertise in one or more of Maxim product lines.

Requirements:

For this exciting and highly technical position, we seek good communicators with at least a 4-year BSEE or equivalent education, plus at least 5 years of relevant analog circuit design. Previous FAE position is a plus. Potential candidate will have excellent written and spoken communication skill. This individual meets with all levels of engineering and upper management in design, research and development. This position is located in Los Angeles. Travel within Los Angeles, orange, Ventura, and Santa Barbara county is required.
