Project or Program Description:Installation of Power Station retrofits   What are the duties of the contractor?

Travel throughout the US to customer sites to retrofit protective relaying systems in power plants and electrical substations. Retrofit and functionally test electrical control and protective relaying systems including generator, high voltage transmission line (500KV) and distribution protection systems. Fully lead jobs from design through commissioning of the system. Test all types of electro mechanical, solid state, and microprocessor relays using both Megger - Pulsar and Doble - F6150 Relay test sets. Proficiently create completely automated tests for all types of relays using Doble ProTesT testing software. Learn and test relays from all manufacturers. Keep track of field design changes and maintain accurate schematics of customer’s system. Update schematics and wiring diagrams in AutoCAD 2004 and/or Microstation 8.1  Background Required:AutoCAD 2004 and or Microstation 8.1 Associates Degree Electro-Mechanical Technology preferred.
